Big five safari

Day 2: As dawn breaks over the African bush, a gentle tap on your door will wake you to the delights of a new day. Your guide will discuss what you hope to see that day over fragrant tea or coffee and morning croissants or rusks. Set out in an open 4x4 safari vehicle in the company of a guide and tracker team, who will attempt to track your favorite animals. The Sabi Sand is well known for its leopard sightings, and you may well spot one of these elusive cats resting after a successful night hunt. You will stop for refreshments at a scenic spot during your drive.  09h30: Approximate return to the lodge. A hearty brunch awaits you on the veranda served at 10h00. Platters of fruit and cheese followed by a selection of hot breakfast dishes.  If you wish, you can walk off your breakfast on a short walk near the lodge, accompanied by your guide, who will share his insight into the smaller animals and vegetation in the area.  Cool off with a refreshing dip in the pool or indulge in an afternoon siesta, to make up for that early morning wake-up call! Over a late afternoon tea, your guide will discuss what you hope to see during the afternoon game drive.  15h30/16h00: Once again meet for high tea on the veranda before departing on another unforgettable safari. As darkness settles over the bush, look out for the Milky Way - a truly spectacular sight – or try to find the Southern Cross. Return to lodge for a delicious dinner, prepared especially for you by the Inyati chef and her culinary team.
