Day 1
Kibale
Day 1: Drink Tea at Crater Lake After arriving at Entebbe International airport, a private transfer will take you westwards to Fort Portal which rests in the shadow of the fabled 'Mountains of the Moon'. Here you'll get to view the area's many famous tea plantations. You'll continue your journey to Kibale National Parkthrough the Crater Lake region. Day 2
Kibale | Queen Elizabeth
Day 2: Meet the Monkeys Encounter primates of various species in Kibale Forest as you hike through this tropical rainforest in search of chimpanzees, colobus and red-tailed monkeys. After lunch a private transfer will take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you're sure to spot warthog, buffalo and elephant as you're driven to your comfortable Mweya Safari Lodge cottage in the heart of the park. Day 3
Bwindi Impenetrable
Day 3: Cruise the Kazinga Channel After breakfast board a boat and cruise along the scenic Kazinga Channel, a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. During the cruise you'll come across hundreds of hippos cooling off in the water and observe the abundant birdlife found in this extraordinary corner of East Africa. After tucking into a delicious packed lunch you'll be driven through lush countryside, passing traditional homesteads and farms on your way to Buhoma Lodge, situated in the amazing Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Day 4
Day 4: Get Close to Gorillas A memorable part of your trip will be an intimate encounter with the Bwindi forest gorillas during a hike that can take anything from 2 to 8 hours before you see them. You can expect to walk in steep and muddy conditions, sometimes with rain, but it'll all be worthwhile as you get to observe the gorillas up close while they eat, play and rest. Spend the evening swopping gorilla stories with your companions while admiring the views of the forest canopy from your Buhoma Lodge cottage. Day 5
Lake Mburo
Day 5: Discover the Uganda Equator After breakfast it's a private transfer back to Entebbe, looking out for impala and zebra as you pass the Lake Mburo National Park and taking your last photos at the Ugandan equator. After arriving in Entebbe during the evening, enjoy a European-style dinner and relax at the elegant Libya Hotel as you take in the panoramic views of Lake Victoria.
