Moving from one destination to another takes less than two hours which will definitely be an advantage for those who do not like long journeys by car. Lake Manyara is not only the habitat of a huge number of birds including hornbills, pelicans and storks but also a place of nesting of pink flamingos’ colonies. It is here that you can meet lions climbing trees and even secretive leopards. Tarangire is known for its number of elephants and also predators who go down to the river in looking for the prey.

Itinerary
Day 1: Tarangire
Tarangire
In this park you have the chance to see lots of wild Tanzanian animals (lions, buffalos, giraffes, zebras, etc.), but above all else it is famous for its astonishing number of elephants, who typically tend to stay close to their drinking source, the Tarangire River. At lunch time you will be provided a meal, after which the safari will continue. In the evening you will be transferred to the camp
Tarangire Tortillis Camp
Day 2
Lake Manyara
We travel to Lake Manyara National Park. This impressive park is one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a massive but shallow soda lake (covering two-thirds of the park) at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants, Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions, as well as large flocks of flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake.
