Itinerary
Day 01
Murchison Falls
Day 01: Departure from Kampala to Murchison Falls [Approximately 6hours drive]. After breakfast you will be met by the guide at the agreed upon pickup point, who will brief you about the tour and transfer to the Northwestern part of the country heading to Murchison Falls National Park, through the undulating savannas of Nakasongola. You will break off en-route to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to track the White Rhinos. You will have lunch here or in Masindi town and then continue to the park. On arrival, proceed to the booked accommodation where you have your dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner. Overnight: Heritage lodge [Basic].
Day 02
Day 02: Launch trip, Hike to the falls and Game drive Today after breakfast, proceed to Paraa, driving through the Northern section spotting a number of wildlife at dawn. At Paraa, you will set-off for a one-way launch cruise along the Nile all the way to the bottom of the exciting falls; along the banks you will spot some wildlife like mammals, reptiles and birds. At the end of the cruise, you will hike to the top of the falls where you will cool-off in the misty spray of the exploding falls, this is a stunning Kodak moment. In the afternoon after lunch, hit the striking golden savannas on the Northern bank where you will see game like the African Elephant, Elusive Lion, Jackson’s Hartebeests, Uganda Kobs and many more. Return to the lodge after the game drive for dinner and overnight. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Overnight: Heritage lodge
Day 03
Murchison Falls
Day 03: Return to Kampala Have breakfast at leisure and then leave Murchison Falls National Park heading back to Kampala and on arrival, you will be dropped off at the point of pickup. Meal Plan: Breakfast & Lunch. End of Safari.
