Safari summary
The world’s famous Masai Mara Game Reserve is seen by many as the jewel of Kenya’s park. This is Kenya’s number one park and is always on every tourist’s “Must See List”. Full of life with various species of animals and birds, Masai Mara crown’s the climax of every safari in Kenya. Its rolling savannah grasslands have time and again been captured on film with the movie “Out of Africa” being the most famous. Masai Mara is home to the “Big Five” (Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Leopard and Rhino) and over 450 bird species. Even when the migration is quiet, the Mara offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa; great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands of elands, buffaloes, impalas and Grant’s gazelles. The climate is gentle, rarely too hot and well spread rainfall year-round.
