Day 1
Arusha | Serengeti | Tarangire
Day 1: Arusha-Tarangire National Park Pick up from Arusha at 9.00am, drive to Tarangire National Park enjoy a full day game drive and picnic lunch. Tarangire National Park covers 2,600 square kilometers and at dry times, the concentration of inn animal’s rivals that of the much better known Serengeti – the game numbers are staggering: E.g. 30,000 Zebras, 25,000 Wildebeests, 5,000 Buffaloes, 3,000 Elephants, 2,500 Maasai Giraffes and over 1,000 Fringe-eared Oryx’s (gemsbok), Predators include Lions, Cheetah and Leopards. Also flocks of birds: E.g. Green Wood Hoopoes, Fisher Lovebirds, white bellied go-away birds and giant kingfishers, dinner and overnight at Tarangire campsite.
Day 2
Day 2-Lake Natron and Water falls Early at 6.00am have a cup of coffee and drive to Maasai Boma where you will experience the rhythm of this nomadic tribe’s daily life. Subject to the season, witness the livestock movement in the early morning before meeting the Elders, Moran warriors, women and children with full explanations into the status and ranking within the families as well as their traditions and beliefs. Then drive back to the camp for full breakfast, After breakfast drive to Lake Natron. After lunch visit the lake to view the flock of Flamingos and other species of water birds, then visit the Munge thundering water falls for swimming, late evening drive back to Old view campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 3
Serengeti
Day 3-Serengeti National Park -Game drive After breakfast have a full day game drive in route with picnic lunch box, via Loliondo Sonjo land. Serengeti National Park is the very Big National Park in the world, with huge variety of animals and birds, search among the trees and kopjes for the elusive Leopards and cheetah as well as Wildebeest Migration. Drive to Seronera Campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 4
Serengeti
Day 4- Serengeti National Park Early at 05:30am take your breakfast box and proceed for Sunrise game drive until 08:30am drive back to the Lodge for rest. At 10:00am proceed for another game drive in this wonderful National Park. Our guides will choose the best spotting locations for the time of year with picnic lunch, we can spend time at the Hippo pool watching these majestic animals laze about in the cool water happily living alongside the crocodiles, watch a big pride of lions, be in the middle of the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeest, sometimes by zebras, which travel with the wildebeest. This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with the ultimate in game viewing, we will hopefully see all of the plain games; elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, lions and it you are lucky the elusive Leopards and Cheetahs, as well as huge amounts of interesting bird life. Dinner and overnight at Seronera Campsite
Day 5
Serengeti
Day 5-Serengeti National Park After breakfast enjoy a full day game drive and picnic lunch in the plains of Serengeti National Park, enjoy morning, afternoon and evening game drive. Drive to Seronera Campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater | Serengeti
Day 6-Serengeti-Ngorongoro Conservation Area After breakfast have a full day game viewing en-route with picnic lunch box and visit to the small but very interesting Dr. Leakey Museum at Olduvai Gorge. Ascend from the plains to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight at Simba campsite (Crater rim).
Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater
Day 7-Ngorongoro Crater At 05.30 am have a breakfast, after breakfast at 6.00 am descend 610 meters into Ngorongoro Crater floor for 6hours game viewing with picnic lunch box. Spot the endangered black Rhinos, Lions, Elephants, Zebras, Buffaloes and wildebeest and other wild animals Also in Ngorongoro Crater Soda Lake you will see many species of birds including Flamingos. All these animals in turn support large predators such as Lions and Leopards, and scavengers such as Hyenas and Jackals. At 2.00 drive to Lake Eyasi, at the lake you will see great birdlife along the shore, and location alone makes it a great place to spend a couple of nights, lso the meadows along the lake shores and forest are home to a wide variety of wildlife including leopard, hippos, a variety of monkeys, various birds, greater and lesser flamingos, storks, and pelicans. Late evening drive to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight at Eyasi Bush campsite.
Day 8
Arusha
Day 8-Bushmen Local Hunting and Other Local Tribes Early at 5.30am have a breakfast, after breakfast drive to the bush to meet Hadzabe Bushmen tribe. They are often willing for visitors to come and see their simple bush homes where the tree canopy alone or a cave provides them with shelter. They live entirely off the bush and from hunting. After getting a special opportunity to walk with the Hadza, hunting or gathering honey and insects from the bush and experience Bushmen local living, then drive back to the camp to take your luggage, then drive with picnic lunch box to Arusha.
