Day 1

DAY 1: KILIMANJARO AIRPORT –MC ELLYS HOTEL Pick up from Kilimanjaro Aiport transfer you to Mc Ellys Hotel, here your English-speaking driver guide will brief you about your safari, and if you have at time, we will take you for Arusha town tour. Visit Local Market, Tanzanite Gem stone museum to experience the story of Tanzanite, which was discovered only in Tanzania and if you are interested you can buy, overnight at Mc Ellys Hotel- bed and breakfast.

Day 2

DAY 2: TREKKING FOOTHILLS OF THE DRAMATIC MT LONGIDO After breakfast, drive to Longido Maasai village. Then guided with Maasai warriors walk 5hours with lunch packets to the refuge of birds like weavers, sun birds, buffalo weavers etc, walk through the foothills of Mount Longido to see traditional medicine plant, on the clear days you view all the northern Tanzania mountains Enjoy Maasai traditional dance, the barbecue & stories with Maasai elders. Dinner and overnight at Longido campsite

Day 3

DAY 3: TREK UP LONGIDO/DRIVE TO KITUMBEINE MAASAI VILLAGE After breakfast trek into the foothills of Longido up to a high view point (5,487ft), have view of Mt. Meru &Kilimanjaro. After lunch drive to Kitumbeine Village and Kitumbeine Rocky Camp, 2km outside the village (alt. of camp is 4,070ft).Distance ranges from 10kms to 20kms today, depending your strength and wishes. The experience should give you a good understanding how the Maasai walk regularly, Dinner and overnight at camp.

Day 4

DAY 4: KITUMBEINE MAASAI VILLAGE Trek Kitumbeine Mountain to viewpoint on a ridge at 6,300ft The trail is dusty and rocky to start, Temperature drops as you proceed and you begin to gain altitude, expect to reach the viewpoint early afternoon. Trek part back down and meet the vehicle for a short drive to the Ngarirat Swamp, a mostly dry ancient swamp bed where many wild animals come to drink and graze. Enjoy a game viewing around the swamp, Dinner and overnight at Kitumbeine Maasai Village

Day 5

DAY 5: TREK CROSS NAGARITAT TO GELAI Today you will have a vehicle uplift to North – East of Kitumbeine village on rocky terrain. Cross a low saddle between Mt. Kitumbeine and Gilai, climb into the foothills. On this day and the following days you will see more of the wild populates the region, e.g. Zebra, Gerenuk, and Giraffe and the bird life is rich along the entire route. The Superb Starlings, the Go Away bird, hoops and numerous raptors Camp at Gelai Village for dinner and overnight

Day 6

DAY 6: LAKE NATRON AND WATERFALLS After breakfast drive to the bottom of the Mountain and start a short walk to the Ngarasero waterfalls for swimming to the River pool and enjoy viewing deferent spices of birds and butterflies, hot lunch at the waterfalls. At evening drive to Lake Natron to see one of the major flocks of Flamingos breeding areas and you will enjoy to see species After sunset drive to the camp for dinner and then settle in for your overnight stay.

Day 7

Serengeti

DAY 7: SERENGETI NATIONALPARK After early breakfast, continue your journey further north while the vehicle slowly climbs along several serpentine turns. Enjoy a last view of Lake Natron and continue via the village of Waso to Northern Serengeti. Enter Serengeti by midday at Kleins Gate and enjoy a game drive on the way to Serengeti. Enjoy viewing animals e.g Leopards, lions, buffaloes, elephants, giraffes and zebras and birds. Dinner and overnight at Pimbi campsite

Serengeti

DAY 8: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK Early morning at 5.30am have a cup of coffee, and then proceed for sunrise game viewing till 8.00am come back for full breakfast. After breakfast, have a full day game viewing with hot lunch in vast Serengeti Plains, home to a huge variety of animals and birds, Search among the trees and kopjes for the elusive Leopards and cheetah as well as Wildebeest Migration. After Sunset game drive back to Pimbi campsite for dinner and overnight at or similar.

Serengeti

DAY 9: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK Full day game drive in Serengeti. After breakfast proceed for full day game drives in Serengeti with hot lunch, After sunset drive back to Pimbi campsite for dinner and overnight. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 10

Ngorongoro Crater

DAY 10: SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER RIM Early at 5.30am have a cup coffee and proceed for sunrise game viewing, At 8.00am, drive back to the camp for full breakfast. After breakfast have a Game viewing en-route with picnic lunches and visit to the small but very interesting Dr. Leakey Museum at Olduvai Gorge. Then ascend from the plains to the rim of Ngorongoro Crater for dinner and overnight at Simba campsite (Crater rim). Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Day 11

Ngorongoro Crater

DAY 11: NGORONGORO CRATER After early breakfast, descend 610 meters into Ngorongoro Crater floor for 6 hrs game drive with picnic lunch. Spot the endangered black Rhinos, Lions, Elephants, Zebras, Buffaloes and wildebeest and other wild animals. Ngorongoro Crater Soda Lake you will see many species of birds including Flamingos. All these animals in turn support large predators such as Lions and Leopards, and scavengers such as Hyenas and Jackals. Dinner and overnight at Migombani campsite.

Day 12

Lake Manyara

DAY 12: LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara for full day game drive, home to giant fig trees, acacia woodlands, mahogany trees and grassy flood plains. Lake Manyara National Park provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birds life with over 400 species having been recorded within the parks boundaries. Highlights include pink-hued flamingos, herons, storks and pelicans. Late afternoon drive to Kilimanjaro Airport
