Day 1
Kibale
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park You depart Entebbe/Kampala for the western part of the country to Fort Portal town. The drive will take about 5 – 6 hours. On the way you will see the blossoming green countryside, traditional homesteads and farmlands. You will enjoy the scenic allure of the gentle hills with stunning view points. You will have lunch in Fort Portal and continue to Kibale Forest National Park arriving at your reserved lodge in the evening.
Day 2
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking Following breakfast, go into the forests spending half of the day tracking the chimpanzees. Other primate you will come across on a safari in Uganda include: phoestes, Blues & Red-tailed monkeys, Red-Colobus and the Grey-cheeked Mangabeys swinging in the forests canopy , and what you won’t fail to notice will be the small insects, birds plus the butterflies. Slumber at Ndali Lodge, or Kanyanchu Bandas (budget) Meal Pan: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
Day 3
Kibale
Day 3: Bigodi, back to Kampala On having breakfast, you will yet again have another nature encounter within the wondrous Bigodi Swamp. This is not a mere bird sanctuary but also a habitat to many uncommon species such as the Sitatunga. Enjoy a picnic lunch before driving back to Kampala. Meal Pan: Lunch & Dinner.
