Arusha | Tarangire

Day 2: Arusha Town - Tarangire National Park: After an early breakfast with a picnic lunch in hand, you will drive to Tarangire National Park to view its large elephant population. Here you will have the unique experience of seeing nature combined with the original way of life of Masaai. Tarangire offers unparalleled game viewing and during the dry season the elephants abound. Families of the pachyderms play around the ancient trunks of baobab trees and strip acacia bark from the thorn trees for their afternoon meal. You will catch breathtaking views of the Masaai Steppe and the mountains to the south as well as make a stop at Tarangire for a memorable experience. You will take part in a game drive until late in the evening where you will see wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, antelope and many more wild animals. Later in the evening you will drive to your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 4: Lake Natron-Full Day Activities. After breakfast you will have another chance to see more of Lake Natron. Morning visit Lake Natron or swim at the Munge thundering waterfalls. The color of the lake is characteristic of those where very high evaporation rates occur. As water evaporates during the dry season, salinity levels increase to the point that salt-loving microorganisms begin to thrive. Such halophile organisms include some cyanobacteria that make their own food with photosynthesis as plants do. The red accessory photosynthesizing pigment in the cyanobacteria produces the deep reds of the open water of the lake and the orange colors of the shallow parts of the lake. The alkali salt crust on the surface of the lake is also often colored red or pink by the salt-loving microorganisms that live there. Salt marshes and freshwater wetlands around the edges of the lake do support a variety of plants. Afternoon relax at leisure dinner and overnight.

Serengeti

Day 6: Serengeti National Park-Full Day Following Migration: After an early breakfast with a picnic lunch to enjoy full day game drive where you will have the chance to see the majority of the “Big 4”, namely lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and many other wild animals including hippo, zebra, wildebeest, cheetah, hyena, and gazelle, just to mention a few. The Mighty Serengeti is a wild paradise where you will be able to see thousands of wild animals. Depending on your time of travel. You will follow the migration of wildebeests in any direction within the park its can be Northern near Grumet river and Ikorongo, Western or Southern Serengeti, enjoy wildlife till evening then you will return for dinner and your overnight stay. NOTE: we can change the hotel in Serengeti to follow the great migration consideration the period of your travel. The main reason is to see the migration.

Arusha | Lake Manyara | Ngorongoro Crater

Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater-Lake Manyara National Park-Zanzibar Island: Breakfast with your picnic lunch in hand you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. This enchanting park is noted for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest of giant fig and mahogany trees, which are home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. It is very famous for its stunning bird variety. The park is also home to a large numbers of buffalos, giraffes, elephants, impalas and a Hippo lake, where large numbers of hippos usually gather. This park has become famous for the the climbing lions and the flamingos in the lake shore. The game drives are done along the shore of the lake, providing incredible views of animals in the foreground with the lake, flamingos and flat plains in the horizon. Enjoy the sights until noon then drive to Arusha for your flight at 0445pm to Zanzibar arrival at 0600pm Meet and greet then transfers to your beach hotel. You will enjoy dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 12: Beach Resort - Zanzibar Airport: Enjoy breakfast and then relax at your leisure until it is time for your departure. You will leave depending on your international flight time either from Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam. At the designated time you will leave the beach resort and travel to Zanzibar Airport for your flight back home. This is where your safari will ending. End of your Safari.
