The itinerary includes a visit to 2 major national parks of Uganda. On Day one you will be picked and head right away to Queen Elizabeth national park.(short evening game drive). Day two will include a morning game drive and an afternoon boat trip along the kazinga channel. on the 3rd day you will transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park with a drive through the ishasha area with a plan to view the tree climbing lions.
On day 4, Gorilla trekking commences and after trekking you will hit the road and head to lake bunyonyi for some relaxation and the island visit.
Finally on day 5 you will be dropped at the airport such that you catch up with your flight back home.

Itinerary
Day 1
Queen Elizabeth
Day 1: The assigned tour guide will pick you up at your house and depart right away for Queen Elizabeth National park. The drive takes you to south Western Uganda which is beautiful, relatively higher with an elevation ranging between 1200 to 1800 meters above sea level. You will have a lunch break in fort portal town before heading for the game park. A chance to see the LEGENDARY MOUNTAINS OF THE MOON will be had as you enter fort portal town. (these are the highest mountains in Uganda). Today you will have an evening game drive to find some animals before you head to the lodge. Check-in, dinner, and overnight.
Day 2
Day 2: After your early morning breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive in a pooped up Safari vehicle in search of the big four. During the game drive, you will be on a look for Lions, leopard, Elephants, Bushbucks, Cape Buffaloes, defassa waterbucks, giant forest hogs, Uganda kobs,warthogs among others. Thereafter proceed for some rest and lunch at the lodge. After lunch, head out for a 2 hours boat trip on the kazinga channel which connects lake Gorge and Edward. You will be fascinated by the concentration of giant hippos, elephants, Buffaloes, crocodiles among others. For the bird lovers, this boat trip offers you with a variety of water birds along the shores of this channel. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3
Queen Elizabeth
Day 3: Have a relaxing breakfast and set off for Bwindi impenetrable national Park through ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park famously known for its tree-climbing lions. The chance of spotting these tree climbing lions is 70% though sometimes are not spotted at all. The lions in the tree will absolutely amaze you. Continue to Bwindi impenetrable park. Bwindi is a big habitat of the endangered mountain gorillas in Uganda (estimated to have 400 members). Roughly half of the world's population lives in Uganda and these comprise of habituated groups which can be trekked. Check in your accommodation, relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the following day.
Day 4
Day 4: After an early breakfast, you will be transferred by your guide to the briefing point, get allocated to a Gorilla group/ family, and then head out to the jungle with some rangers guides for your gorilla adventure. The rainforest has rich biodiversity ranging from different tree species to different animal species. It also harbors the endangered brown mahogany tree. Once you locate the gorilla group, you will be allowed to spend an hour with them. spotting the mountain gorillas is an amazing and exciting moment one can ever imagine. You will then transfer to Lake Bunyonyi: Check-in and after you may opt to enjoy a boat cruise to explore the different islands of Lake Bunyonyi. Cruise to punishment island where Bakiga girls who became pregnant before marriage would be taken and left to die in isolation. Other islands of lake Bunyonyi include Akampene, Bushara, and Bucuraniko among others. Or relax at the lodge as you watch the sunset, enjoy the surrounding hills of the lake that reach a height of 2200-2477m above sea level. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5
Day 5: Have a relaxed breakfast at your lodge with a spectacular view of the lake bunyonyi's little islands just in front of you and after embark on your return journey to Kampala. Expect an en route lunch with a stopover at the Uganda Equator line in kayabwe for some photos and buying some souvenirs if interested. Proceed with your journey arriving late evening. You will be dropped at your house on arrival to Kampala.
