Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the world’s most magnificent game reserves. Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is a northern extension of Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries. Masai Mara is famous for the abundance of lion, the great wildebeest migration and the Masai people well known for their rich culture. Over 450 species of birds have been identified in the park, among them being 57 species of birds of prey, including vultures, marabou stocks, crowned cranes, horn bills, ostriches, long-crested eagles and African pygmy falcons. In addition to the ‘big five’ ; lion, buffalo, leopard, rhino and elephant, you will find plenty of interesting Kenyan wildlife such as hippos, jackals, giraffes, zebras, warthogs, wildebeests, hyenas, antelope, cheetahs and crocodiles.

Nairobi- Masai Mara
Pick up from your hotel and depart for Masai Mara National Reserve with a drive through the Great Rift Valley. Pass by Narok town to arrive at the campsite for lunch. Check in, have your lunch served at the camp and rest a bit before progressing for afternoon game drives. Masai Mara Reserve is one of the greatest wilderness in the world. Residents in the park are zebra, topi, eland, buffalo, giraffe, Thompson’s and grant gazelle. Drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.
Masai Mara Full Day Game Drives
This day takes us in search of Africas Big Five and wildlife inhabiting this vast game reserve. On clear days, the Mara offers fantastic orange tinged sunsets worth capturing on camera.Wherever you go, you will see lots of wildlife such as Masai giraffe, baboons, warthogs, bat eared foxes, grey jackals, topis, hartebeests. The Great Migration occurs in July and August when millions of these grass eaters move north from Serengeti. Balloon trips can be arranged at an extra cost; USD 450 PER PERSON
