Tsavo East is Kenya’s biggest park and the second most visited park in Kenya with a land size of 13,747 square kilometers. It is particularly well known for its large herds of Jumbo Red Elephants and captivating landscapes with its prolific bird life of over 500 recorded species. Tsavo East is relatively flat which comprises semiarid plains covered by dormant vegetation.
The meaning of the word Tsavo is still unclear, but because of tribal conflicts, the Kamba people used to refer to the region as the place of "slaughter".

Mombasa/Diani/Malindi-Tsavo East

Tsavo

pick up at 07:00 from the hotel and drive to tsavo east , arrive at around 10:00 and start immediately with the safari untill 1pm. you will then go and check inn at voi safari lodge and have lunch. After lunch you will have a small siesta before embarking on your afternoon game drive between 4pm and 6pm . you will thereafter go back to voi safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Tsavo East-Mombasa/Diani/Malindi

Early Morning game drive between 6:30am-08:30am , return to the lodge for breakfast and check out ,then mid morning safari then lunch and exit the park . You will arrive at Mombasa, Diani or Malindi late in the evening.
