Nairobi - Amboseli National Park

Pick up at the Hotel/Airport and commence your drive due south of Nairobi, along the Nairobi/Mombasa Highway for the first 225 KM (4 hrs drive) before turning due West towards Mount Kilimanjaro. The drive thereafter is through typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colorful Masai herdsmen grazing their cattle. At 15:00 hrs head out for your first game viewing drive in the Amboseli National park. Return to the camp at sunset, for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Enjoy morning and late afternoon game viewing drives, this offers you guaranteed elephant sightings, you’ll also see wildebeest and zebras, and you’ve a reasonable chance of spotting lions, cheetahs and hyenas. The park is also home to over 370 bird species, and it has an excellent array of lodges and an agreeably mild, dry climate.– with mid-morning and early afternoon spent at leisure back at the Camp. Breakfast at the camp After breakfast, depart on your drive to the floor of the Rift Valley, drive via Nairobi and to the Great Rift Valley view point for some brief leisurely stops From this edge, you can have some magical sweeping views of the Rift valley formation Proceed, to arrive in Lake Nakuru in time for check in and lunch. Later proceed on for an afternoon game viewing drive in the park Dinner and overnight at Flamingo Hill camp.
