Arrive, transfer to bwindi forest

Bwindi Impenetrable

Meet and greet with the company representative and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for two nights, home to over half of the world’s mountain gorillas. Interact with these gentle giants and experience what Africa offers. Bwindi is home to a lot of mammals plus bird species. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will get to freshen up, relax, have dinner and get ready for the next day’s gorilla trekking. Overnight at your lodge on fullboard basis.

Bwindi Impenetrable

Enjoy breakfast and embark on your gorilla trek. Report to the ranger station for registration and briefing. The Forest guides will then lead you through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. The trek can take anywhere from an hour to 7 hours – a reasonable degree of fitness is required. Spending time with the gorillas in their natural habitat is an unforgettable experience. Transfer to Kigali for flight out

Depart Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for Kigali. If time allows, you can do an optional kigali city tour (genocide museum etc). Later transfer to the airport for your flight home.
