Tarangire National Park

After a breakfast, your driver will be at your hotel ready to take approximate 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. The Park is home of Buffaloes, Zebra and Wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of Predators such as Lions, Leopard are seen now and then, but Cheetahs are rarely spotted. The Tarangire National Park is considered as one best place to view Elephant up close, and Giant Baobab trees. Lunch at picnic site on the view of Tarangire river.

After breakfast you will travel via the cooler highlands towards the southern Serengeti National Park. This Is the largest in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscapes- short grass plains, savannah, Thick bush, Lakes and Bizarre rock formation called Kopjes dot the grassy landscape where Predators are often seen. The Serengeti is famous for the yearly migration when hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and Zebra trek to find fresh grass and water. Lunch at picnic site.

You will enjoy some game drive in the Serengeti, The areas that you visit will depend upon where the migrating herds are. Predators usually follow closely behind the trekking animals and include lions, leopards etc. (in the acacia trees) During the short rain season in November and December the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south. During the longer rain season from April to June they return up north. As the migration is completely dependent on the yearly rainfalls.

On your outward journey to the park gate, you will enjoy some more game viewing before you leave the Serengeti National Park in the early afternoon to continue your journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way you can also see the Maasai Boma with their traditional life, you will be staying at the lodge located on rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

After breakfast you will descend the crater 600m down the crater for game. The massive collapsed volcano is home of over 25000 mammals ranging from the Big Five- Lion, Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo, and Leopard – to spotted Hyena, and some of the more that 500 bird species of the area. After an extensive game drive and a picnic for lunch at hippo pool you will leave the caldera, in the late afternoon you will leave the crater and drive to Manyara for dinner and overnight.

After get breakfast. The game drive will start, The entire territory of this park is cut through with ground water streams that provide a favorable environment for plants and in addition for a multitude of birds (Pink flamingos) and African forest animals. Around lunch time, you will visit the Maji Moto (Hot Springs) and you will be provided a personal lunchbox. After this stop the safari will continue and by evening you will be transferred to a hotel in Arusha town to end up your Safari.
