Itinerary
To Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
Mgahinga
Upon arrival at the airport, be received and welcomed by our driver guide or be picked from the hotel and start the journey to Mgahinga national park. First stop at the Uganda equator. Lunch will be in Mbarara and then proceed to Mgahinga national park, via the beautiful scenery. Arrival at the lodge is in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Gorilla trekking and Batwa tour
Mgahinga
Today you will trek the gorillas. Wake up to the sweet sounds of the birds in the neighboring jungle, have breakfast in the fresh morning breeze and head to the park station for gorilla trekking briefing. You will spend one magical hour with apes on meeting them. It’s such a life time experience. After the one hour, trek back to the park headquarters. In the evening visit the Batwa community for a cultural treat to see how the Batwa pygmies.
