This safari is one of the most interesting for our kin birding clients, most of the locations are ecological hot spots and relatively within the wealthy Albertine rift valley which is not only Uganda but Africa’s richest zone for most endemic and globally threatened species of birds and other animals like the mountain gorillas, tree climbing lions.
The safari will start from Kampala to Mabamba swamp, Botanical gardens to Lake Mburo national park having over 350 bird species, to Queen Elizabeth national park having over 600 bird species, to Kibale national park for birding and chimp trekking and a visit to Amabele Ga Nyina Mwiru then back to Kampala

Arrival
On your arrival at Entebbe international airport; our guide will be waiting to give you a warm welcome to the pearl of Africa. He will then transfer you to your hotel for relaxation, dinner and an overnight

Mabamba swamp &botanical gardens
This swamp is located on the shores of lake Victoria which is an extensive papyrus swamp a home to several pairs of shoe bill a , you will use canoes to reach there where you will observe birds like the pink-backed duck, kingfisher, long toed plover, blue headed coucal, Ross Turaco, red love bird etc. You will return have lunch then go to botanical gardens The gardens are attractively laid-out mix of indigenous forest and horticulture .You will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight

Lake Mburo
After breakfast you will start your journey to Lake Mburo national park where you will make a stopover at the equator for photos &the water experiment. it's located in a series of swamp-fringed lakes which provide a great habitat for bird life. You will reach the park in the afternoon, check in to your hotel &prepare for the launch cruise where you will see different bird species like the white-winged warbler, crested coqui, red-winged francolins, etc. will return for dinner & an overnight

Game drive, transfer to Queen Eliz

After breakfast have a morning game drive in the park expect to see different animals like the impalas, zebras, topi, eland, bush buck, buffalo, warthog etc. and different bird species. After the game drive you will start your journey to queen Elizabeth national park. The park is a home to over 600 bird species, it has numerous water birds, woodland & forest dwellers e.g, blacked-rumpled, button quail,etc. You will reach in the late evening check in to your hotel have dinner and overnight.

After your breakfast you will have a morning game drive you will see different animals like the African elephants, buffalo, Uganda kob, topi, giant forest hog, spotted hyena etc. be ready to take pictures and videos with the animals. After the game drive you will have lunch then have a launch cruise to the Kazinga channel expect to see marine animals like the crocodiles, hippos and different bird species . After the launch cruise you will return for dinner and an overnight.

After your delicious breakfast you will checkout from your hotel & have a morning game drive to Ishasha plains for the tree climbing lions as your exiting the park expect to see lions resting on fig trees and acacia since they got tired from hunting take pictures and videos as many as you can. You will have lunch en route then proceed to Kibale national park where you will reach in the late afternoon, on your arrival you will check in to your hotel have dinner, relax and have an overnight.

After breakfast you will go for birding at 7:00am, the park is a home to over 150 bird species expect to see the white-spotted fluff tail, thrust, black-and-white shrike-flycatcher, superb yellow-billed barbet, After birding you will return for lunch. You will prepare for chimpanzee trekking after the briefing you will start trekking, once the chimpanzees are found you are allowed to spend an hour with them, learn about their behaviors,You will return for dinner relax and have an overnight.

Nature walk and hiking
Kibale
You will wake up for breakfast & prepare for a nature walk through the forest of Kibale, this is where you will feel the presences of natural air and learn about different flora and fauna species. During the nature walk you will get to learn about more different bird species & also different primates which will be spotted. Expect to see birds like the African pitta, black capped Apalis, Abyssinian ground thrust, dusky crimson wing among others. From the hiking you will have lunch and relax

Visit to the Amabele Ga NyinaMwiru
After your breakfast you will check out and head to fort portal to visit Amabela Ga Nyina Mwiru, these are rocks located in the cave; they are natural features that are a result of the formation of stalagmites and stalactites. It is a belief that these are the breasts of a young girl called Nyina Mwiru which was cut off by her father the king for refusing to marry a spouse he had chosen for her. You will pass by the amazing waterfalls which will welcome you and learn about the features.
