Pick up at Arusha or Kilimanjaro

On the first day, you will be picked up at the airport by our representative and drive you to the hotel for dinner, overnight sleep and preparation before to start the hiking.

Arusha

On this day, you will have a short drive from your hotel after breakfast to momela gate ready for hiking. After get off of the car, you will register and start hiking in polepole pace to Miriakamba hut 2500m. It takes 5 to 7 hours of hiking. Vegetation- Forest This hiking will be smoothy as walking safari at the start and get hard as you climb. On the way you will meet some beautiful animals like Buffalos and elephants while monkey jumping on the trees. Overnight at Miriakamba hut

Miriakamba to Saddle hut 3500 m

Arusha

On this day, you will gate up early and take your breakfast before departing to Saddle hut which will take 4 to 5 hours. You will experience a steep hike to the forest zone. You will see various bird species and animals as you go. On the way, you will see the mount Meru crater and the ashy tray. We will arrive at saddle hut for hot lunch. After lunch, some of you will have the option of an acclimatization hike to the little Meru(3820m) while at midnight we will have a summit to the main Meru.

This will be a summit day as we will get up at midnight for a main Meru socialist peak summit.A summit must be done before sunrise so when sunrise you will be able to see the majesty Kilimanjaro in a clear sky. Here you will spend some time for pictures before starting the acceleration back to the saddle hut for resting and then keep walking to Miriakamba and then Momela gate for check out. At the main gate, you will meet our driver who will pick you up and drive you to the airport or a hotel.
