Day 1:Kigali to Mgahinga Park

Our guide will pick you up at your hotel after breakfast and then depart from Kigali Rwanda by road and head southwest to Mgahinga National Park. Have a stopover for some informative talk and a splendid photographic opportunity at the Equator. Then continue to Kisoro boarder town for lunch. Travel through the rolling green hills of Banana and Tea plantations and head to the national park.

Day 2:Mgahinga National Park

Mgahinga

Early in the morning have breakfast. you will report to the park headquarters for a briefing from the park officials. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three-quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. 1 hour is allowed with the gorillas for photography and observation as they play, feed and groom.

Day 3:Kisoro to Kigali

After early morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kigali International Airport or Hotel for your flight out later in the evening. This day is reserved for evening flights through Kigali International Airport or a post-night to be organized in either..
