Zanzibar to Tarangire via Arusha

Tarangire

On the first day of the safari, you will fly from Zanzibari to Arusha airport where you will meet up with a Turacin representative and drive to Tarangire national park. A Journey From Arusha to Tarangire national park takes 2 hours and we will start our day drive right after check-in. Tarangire is full of wild animals including big cats. You will enjoy a delicious lunch at the matete picnic and continue our drive till evening where we will drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight sleep.

Karatu to Ngorongoro crater.

Ngorongoro Crater

On this day, After breakfast we will drive slowly from Karatu to Ngorongoro gate for check-in, then we will keep driving to the crater where the magic happens. Crater will welcome you with a great view of the crater base. Here we will be looking for an endangered black rhino. Ngorongoro hosts more than 40 rhinos that live free and not captivated. We will take our lunch at Lerai picnic and then keep driving for an evening drive before we drive back to Kilimanjaro for a flight back to Zanzibar.
