Day Trip in Arusha

Safari summary

In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Arusha NP. You will drive to the ranger post where you will meet an armed ranger waiting for you to accompany you on your walking safari that will give you the chance to experience the wildlife up-close. Only a few other national parks in Tanzania give you such an opportunity and it is something that should not be missed. Later you will proceed with your day of game drive with packed lunch. The park is home to buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and white colobus monkeys, baboons and different bird species. At afternoon on canoeing safari on Momella lake, which is mostly surrounded by migratory pink flamingos and other colorful water birds. After plenty of time allocated for you to observe the wildlife, you will drive further to your lodging for leisure.
