Itinerary
Tarangire National Park
Start the day by driving for 2 hours from Arusha to the gate of Tarangire National Park which is famous for its big elephants. You may come across other mammals such as big cats, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. It is home to hundreds of species of birds. Tarangire National Park has a river known as the “Tarangire River” which tends to flow the whole year. During the dry season, the river becomes an “attracter” for many animals which helps you to sport wildlife animals easily.
Marera Valley Lodge
Lake Manyara National Park
Start a journey across the Great Rift Valley until Lake Manyara NP. The park has breathtaking scenery and is well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs, and mahogany trees, as well as a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Also include giraffes, elephants, impalas, and a huge number of buffaloes. The lake is also home to hippos. Some unique facts about this park include the tree-climbing lions, flamingos on the lake shore, as well as the ground hornbill, and the crested eagle
Bougainvillea Safari Lodge
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely crowded African wildlife areas in the world and is home to an estimated 30,000 animals including Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard.
