Murchison Falls

DAY 2; ZIWA RHINOS, MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK After an early breakfast, depart for Gulu town. Have a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you shall have an opportunity to have a walking safari to the rhinos, being led by a ranger guide, while he interprets the behavior, habitat, and feeding habits of the White Rhino. The Rhino population is slowly increasing with new births, one of which is called ‘Obama’. After your lunch,  proceed to Murchison Falls National Park.  Overnight at Paraa Safari Lodge, Nile Safari Camp or Sambiya River Lodge.

Kibale

DAY 4; KIBALE FOREST NATIONAL PARK After breakfast, you will depart for Kibale Forest National Park (This is a tiresome long drive, where you shall have a packed lunch stop en-route. Kibale Forest is a large protected block of rainforest, which has about 13species of primates, such as Chimpanzees, Grey Cheeked Mangabey, Red Tailed monkey and Red Colobus. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge, Primate Lodge, Kibale Forest Camp,Ataco country Resort, Kluge’s Guest Farm.

DAY 6; GAME DRIVE, LUNCH CRUISE Have an Early Morning Game Drive. In the afternoon, you shall have a boat ride on Kazinga Channel. Queen Elizabeth boasts one of the highest bio diversity ratings of any game park, from the open Savannah to Rain Forest, dense Papyrus Swamps and Crater Lakes to the vastness of Lake Edward. Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge, Jacana Safari Lodge, Kingfisher Safari Lodge.

DAY 8; QUEEN ELIZABETH N.P – KINIGI (RWANDA) Rwanda also known as the Land of a Thousand Hills, bordered by Uganda, Burundi, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Tanzania. Although close to the equator, the country has a cool temperate climate due to its high elevation. The terrain consists mostly of grassy uplands, gently rolling hills, scenic lake views and the rare mountain gorillas. Dinner and Overnight at   Mt. Gorilla View Lodge, La Palme Hotel, Muhabura Hotel.

DAY 10; KINIGI TO GISENYI. Depart Kinigi for Gisenyi, at leisure, visiting a local community. In the afternoon you shall take a boat ride on Lake Kivu as well as a walk in Gisenyi town and to the Border post with Dr Congo. Nyungwe Forest

DAY 12; BUTARE TO NYUNGWE After breakfast you may choose to visit the National Museum of Rwanda in Butare, as well as the Nyanza King’s Palace later  proceed to Nyungwe forest arriving in the evening. Overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge,Top View Hotel

DAY 14; KIGALI AND DEPARTURE You shall have a city tour where you will visit the Genocide Memorial Centre, in Kigali, that is a permanent exhibition for the benefit of survivors and young people who lost loved ones and were affected by the 1994 genocide. Depart for Kanombe airport to catch your flight back home depending on your flight schedule.
