Game Drive / Boat Safari

Nyerere (Selous)

You can be picked up from either the Dar es Salaam Ferry (if coming from Zanzibar) or from agreed location in Dar Es Salaam and taken to Nyerere National Park (approx. 5 hour drive). Your game drive starts as soon as you arrive at Nyerere National Park. Alternatively you can experience a magical boat safari on the largest river in Tanzania (the mighty Rufiji River). In the evening you will be taken back to the hotel/camp where you will have a chance to freshen up, have dinner and end your day.

Today you will start early with a morning game drive. You will have a chance to see different kinds of wild animals like elephants, hippos, impalas, lions, zebras, crocodiles and many others  Later in the day, you will have an option to do a village tour where you will mingle with the villagers and learn about their history, culture, traditions and ways of life  Early evening you will drive back to Dar Es Salaam.
