Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Murchison Falls
Upon arrival, meet our company safari guide who will transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe. You can have an optional visit to Entebbe Botanical gardens. The botanical garden offers an excellent introduction to Uganda’s birds ranging from Lake Victoria specials such as yellow-throated leaflove, forest birds such as great blue turaco . In this garden you can spot a few primates like the black and white colobus monkeys. Return to your accommodation and have enough rest.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison
Murchison Falls
After your delicious breakfast, drive to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive will take you through Luwero Triangle, long stretch to Masindi town. Expect a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a short walk to see the white Rhinos with a ranger escort for about an hour seeing them enjoying the sanctuary. Have lunch at Kabalega Dinners, proceed to Murchison falls National Park. You will occasionally see your wildlife including warthogs, giraffes, buffaloes as you drive to your accommodation.

Day 3: Game Drive- Boat Trip
Murchison Falls
Have breakfast go for game drive on the Northern delta with sightings of buffaloes, warthog and carnivores including lions, elusive leopard. Go for the afternoon boat trip to the bottom of the Murchison falls. En-route you will see hippos, crocodiles, elephants cooling off on the shores from the scotching sun and various bird species. Continue with a hike to the top of the falls for viewing of the other side of the falls where the Nile squeezes through a 7 meters’ gorge to the falls 45 meters.

Day 4
Kibale | Murchison Falls
After breakfast, drive to the top of the Murchison Falls (in case you did not hike) for a spectacular view of the falls. Thereafter the safari will continue with transfer to Kibale National Park. This park is highly alluring to nature lovers for its excellent chimpanzee trekking and bird watching. Its boosts of the highest total of primates such as velvet, red-tailed, red Columbus, olive baboon and chimpanzee. Upon arrival you will check in your room and have a relaxed evening.

Day 6: Chimpanzee Trekking
Kibale | Queen Elizabeth
After breakfast, proceed to the park office for briefing. While in the forest expect to see at least 2-3 other types of primates most especially grey- cheeked mangabey and red tailed monkey. The guides are knowledgeable and will identify various medicinal plants, bird calls. Once you allocate the chimpanzees, you will be allowed an hour with them. You return to the lodge for lunch thereafter you will head out for Queen Elizabeth National Park arriving in the evening for dinner and overstay.

Day 6: Game Drive- Boat Trip

After breakfast, go for morning game drive though the park, look out for members of the big five including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopard, other mammals such as giant forest hogs and antelopes. In the afternoon go for boat trip along the kazinga channel. It’s a great trip with elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, large hippo pods, giant forest hog will be observed from time to time. Keep an open eye for the enormous monitor lizard which is common in the riverine scrub as well as crocodiles.

Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi
Bwindi Impenetrable | Murchison Falls
Have breakfast and later you will be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park though the Ishasha sector which is well known for tree climbing lions population. Ishasha sector also harbours decent concentrations of hippos, elephants, buffalo and antelopes. You will have lunch in Ishasha and continue to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is a home of the endangered mountain gorillas reaching in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: Gorilla Trekking
Bwindi Impenetrable
After early breakfast, you will drive to the park offices for briefing. we trek through the rain forest and bamboo covered slopes. You will love the trekking in the ecosystem of the park. The trekking will take 3-5 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Return to the lodge for lunch. Later you will drive through the terraced hills to Lake Bunyonyi. Check in your lodge for a relaxed evening with stunning view of the lake.

Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe
Bwindi Impenetrable
Have a delicious breakfast, start on your journey to Kampala/ Entebbe, expect stopovers for lunch along the way and the Equator line for beautiful pictures. Proceed with the journey to Entebbe arriving late afternoon or evening to be dropped at your point of drop off like hotel, airport or home. Enriched with the memory of the rare apes and savannah wildlife, you will say goodbye to the pearl of Africa.
